Spring is but a distant memory and all the hard work and long hours of the season are paying off in beautiful big kid feathers and fur. Ironically, today also marks the last hatch for our 2013 spring season - Welsh Harlequin and Pencilled Indian Runner Ducklings. How fun!
There is something rewarding about watching things grow. Pumpkins and Sunflowers spring to mind as very rewarding "end products" as do tomatoes, and the Pink Brandywine heirlooms are just beginning to ripen. Uh, wait a minute...this isn't right. Where was I? Oh yea, today's mid-summer's tale is about big kid feathers and fur and catching them in just the right light before sunset. Enjoy the pics --
