Goose Herding 101

Geese are always shuffling here or there being nosy and always on the lookout for something new and exciting. Something, anything really to stick their noses into....

In this case they have ambled to the back of the house and are checking out the temporary "fattening" pens set up for a couple of the Dorking roosters not making the breeding pen cut. They are probably making fun of them and laughing and pointing.

Along comes Mr. Kelley Creek Farms on lawn duty from the front of the property.

The geese pay no attention at all to our vehicles and think they own the driveway sitting their plump asses down in defiance and screaming at the bumper of the car or the UPS guy or the dog. But what's this?

Geese on the move??
