the magic of roasted garlic
I'm not sure how you can take a common rank, hot, smelly bulb of raw garlic, prep and put in oven for about an hour and transform it into smooth buttery roasted garlic. But I promise you, roasted garlic will take your taste buds off this planet and is CULINARY MAGIC! Am I yelling? Sorry....it's that good.

Take your garlic glove and crinkle the flakey peeling off. Crinkle??? You'll figure it out....<:~)
Then, cut the top of the bulb off exposing all the garlic clove goodness down below.

Drizzle liberally with olive oil and cracked black pepper.
And really, that's about it. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and pop in the oven at 375 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour.
