Souvenir de la Malmaison is hands down, my favorite bloom of any rose. The bush itself can be prone to blackspot and sometimes the flowers won't open properly if it is wet (spring in Alabama) which is often the case. This bloom was already opened, and the light rain droplets did little to marr her beauty.
